Twenty-five years ago, there was no benchmark for dental implants in Lebanon. No standard. No reference point that patients could trust.
Ferrari Dental Clinic set one.
Founded in Beirut in 1999 by Dr. Habib Zarifeh, it became the first ISO 9001-certified dental clinic in Lebanon and the Middle East. ISO 9001 is not a dental certification — it is the world’s most recognised quality management standard, applied across industries from aviation to pharmaceuticals. Applying it to a dental clinic in Beirut in 1999 was a statement: that patients deserve the same standards of process control, documentation, and clinical accountability as any world-class institution.
What Makes a Dental Center Truly the Best?
The answer is not equipment. Every clinic can buy equipment. It is not location, though CMC Hospital Beirut — Johns Hopkins International affiliated — is about as strong a clinical environment as Lebanon offers.
The answer is the surgeon. And the ecosystem built around them.
Dr. Habib Zarifeh holds an MSc in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University and an MS in Oral Surgery. He is the creator of the One Day Implant® protocol — a registered trademark — which allows qualifying patients to receive a laser-placed implant and provisional crown in a single visit. He is the inventor of ZEvolution Veneers®, a no-prep porcelain veneer system launched at the AADEC world exhibition in Dubai. He founded Smile Infinity® and built it across 12 countries. He has operated at a level most in this field never reach — and he continues to do so in Beirut.
From Dental Clinic to Medical Center of Excellence
In 2013, Smile Infinity® Medical Centers launched internationally in Dubai. What began as a dental brand became a complete healthcare institution. Today, Smile Infinity® Lebanon — located in the heart of Beirut at Sin El Fil, Horch Tabet — is a Medical Center of Excellence offering far more than dentistry:
- Dental implants — all protocols, all complexity levels, performed by Dr. Zarifeh at CMC Hospital Beirut
- Cosmetic dentistry — Hollywood Smile, ZEvolution Veneers®, Smile Lift®, ceramic crowns and bridges
- Plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine
- Dermatology, laser hair removal, and facial treatments
- Orthopedics and physical therapy
- ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat)
- Internal medicine, infectious disease, immunity and longevity
No other address in Beirut offers this combination. When patients come for their implants, they are entering a medical institution — not a dental office. That distinction matters more than most people realise.
The One Day Implant® — A Protocol Built for Modern Life
The video above documents what is possible when surgical precision meets technology designed around the patient’s reality. Time is the one resource no one can replace. The One Day Implant® protocol was built to respect it.
Laser-assisted flapless surgery. No incisions. No sutures. Implant and crown in one session for qualifying cases. Patients arrive in the morning and leave with a permanent tooth.
Not every case qualifies — and Dr. Zarifeh is direct about that. When bone grafting or additional staging is required, it will be recommended because the outcome demands it. The standard is never adjusted for convenience.
A 25-Year History. A Global Present.
Ferrari Dental Clinic was the beginning. Smile Infinity® is the evolution. From the first ISO 9001 certification in the Middle East in 1999 to a medical network spanning 12 countries today, every step has been built on the same foundation: clinical excellence and genuine care for every patient who walks through the door.
