Laser dentistry changed everything. Not as a trend — as a standard.
When Dr. Habib Zarifeh completed his MSc in Laser Dentistry at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, laser-assisted implant surgery was barely known in the Middle East. He brought it to Lebanon. He made it the foundation of his surgical protocol at Ferrari Dental Clinic — and later, across the Smile Infinity® network in 12 countries.
The difference is not cosmetic. It is clinical.
Why Laser-Assisted Implant Surgery Matters
Traditional implant surgery involves incisions, sutures, and a healing period that can stretch weeks. With laser-assisted flapless technique, the implant is placed through the gum tissue without cutting. No incisions. No sutures. Minimal swelling. Significantly faster recovery.
Dr. Zarifeh’s One Day Implant® protocol — a registered trademark — takes this further. In qualifying cases, the implant and provisional crown are placed in a single session. Patients arrive missing a tooth. They leave with one.
The Credentials Behind the Technique
Dr. Habib Zarifeh holds an MSc in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and an MS in Oral Surgery. He serves as Head of Oral Surgery at CMC Hospital Beirut — Clemenceau Medical Center, Johns Hopkins International affiliated. Ferrari Dental Clinic, which he founded in 1999, was the first ISO 9001-certified dental clinic in Lebanon and the Middle East.
Those credentials exist for a reason. Dental implant surgery — especially in the aesthetic zone or in compromised bone — requires more than technical skill. It requires a surgeon who understands anatomy, bone biology, soft tissue management, and the prosthetic outcome from the first moment of planning.
Aesthetic Zone Implants — Where Most Clinics Struggle
Implants in the upper front teeth are among the most demanding cases in dentistry. The aesthetic zone requires millimetre-level precision — in implant position, in soft tissue management, and in the final restoration. The gumline must mirror the adjacent teeth. The crown must be indistinguishable from a natural tooth.
Bone grafting is frequently required in these cases. Dr. Zarifeh’s team performs GBR (guided bone regeneration), block bone grafts, and socket preservation procedures — giving patients who were told “you don’t have enough bone” a clear path forward.
Smile Infinity® — Where Dentistry Meets Complete Healthcare
Ferrari Dental Clinic did not stay a dental clinic. In 2013, Smile Infinity® Medical Centers launched internationally — first in Dubai, then expanding to 12 countries across the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. The Lebanon center today operates as a full Medical Center of Excellence, combining dental implants and cosmetic dentistry with a complete ecosystem of specialties:
- Plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine
- Dermatology and laser hair removal
- Facial treatments and skin rejuvenation
- Orthopedics and physical therapy
- ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat)
- Internal medicine
- Infectious disease, immunity and longevity
Patients who come for implants find they have access to a complete healthcare institution. That is the Smile Infinity® difference — and it is what no dental clinic alone can offer.
